      <image:caption>I am running for the Hampton Zoning Board of Adjustments to protect Hampton’s rich character and build resilience for the future. The Zoning Board contributes to this through equitable application of the Hampton Zoning Ordinance. This is especially important when we grant variances that affect shared community assets. Board members also need to be cognizant of the economic development of shared assets and the significant tax revenue they produce, which helps to offset residential property tax burdens. As Hampton invests in its beach and downtown communities, it is important that we do so fairly and responsibly.  As an attorney, I can contribute meaningfully to the Zoning Board work of considering appeals. I can help to minimize avoidable town litigation costs by creating clear records. When the Zoning Board hears property owners’ requests for variances or waivers, I will make sure rules are applied in a uniform and unbiased manner. I hope that I will earn your vote on March 9 for the Zoning Board of Appeals so I can contribute along with the town’s professional staff, other Zoning Board members, and other town boards to foster and protect Hampton’s future.</image:caption>
